Minnie ”Pearl” Sims is a native of Spartanburg, SC, where she and her three siblings were raised by her father. She is a devoted mother of two, James and Janata, and a proud grandmother of five. Pearl gave many years of service to Mountain View Nursing Home, and is now happily retired. July 21, 1984 is one of the most important days in Pearl’s life as it is when she gave her life to Jesus, empowered by the words of Psalm 147:3

She has been a part of the Vanguard ministry since its inception, and received her minister’s license through this ministry. Pearl's mission in life is to become one with The Father. Through this relationship, it is her hope that she is able to inspire, equip and ignite others to do the same. Her aspiration is to teach the Word of God, and to counsel people so that they may take that word, live by it, and remain in The Father.
